Sex Education season 3 is all set to arrive on Netflix on September 17, 2021. Season 3 reveal a new school uniform for the students of Moordale High, with Otis (Asa Butterfield), Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), Maeve (Emma Mackey), and co. wearing blazers, ties, and plaid skirts for the girls. There's also a glimpse at the new headteacher, played by Girls actor Jemima Kirke – and if the new uniforms are anything to go by, it looks like there'll be a lot of changes in the school halls this season.

Trailer for the same has been revealed on Netflix original platform giving the viewers spoilers about the same and from the trailer it is quite clear that It's the end of summer, and the students of Moordale are heading back to school. Soundtracked by Death by White Lies , viewers get a glimpse of the whole gang – it looks like this season is very much an ensemble effort, rather than just The Otis Show. It gives us a much better idea of what we can expect plot-wise, too.

Sex Education season 3 Plot Details

From the trailer, it is evident that There are some new faces in the cast, too. Girls actor Jemima Kirke will play Moordale’s new headteacher, Hope, while musician Dua Saleh is non-binary student Cal. Jason Isaacs, of Harry Potter and Star Trek: Discovery fame, is also on board, playing Peter Groff, Mr Groff’s “more successful/less modest” older brother.

“Otis is back at school but he’s got different things on his plate. He’s grown up a bit and become slightly more sassy. It’s been fun to portray his newfound personality.

On Otis’ will-they-won’t-they relationship with Maeve (Emma Mackey), Butterfield added: “Their relationship continues to develop in season three. Viewers will also get to see why Otis was running his sex therapy clinic in the first place. Was it just to be close to Maeve or does he get fulfillment from helping people? So basically, many new questions are going to be answered with new characters being added in Season 3 of most famous show among the youth.

Also, there’s a new headteacher in town, in the form of newly cast Jemima Kirke, so we can guess that there’ll be some changes at Moordale High.

Elsewhere in the season 2 finale, Maeve finds out that her mum (Anne-Marie Duff) is using drugs again and calls social services on her. The authorities take away her little sister, leaving Maeve on her own again, which is bound to have emotional repercussions that can be explored in season 3. Along with this, many loose ties, relationships and doubts will come to an end in season 3- this being the spoiler for season 3 of much awaited show.
