Fans Turned WandaVision Meme into Spider Man Trailer Clue

Spider-Man: No Way Home has generated considerable buzz up until now, with many stating that the multiverse will have a role to play, (tying up Dr. Strange into it). And with the reports of many old Spider-Man actors like Alfred Molina (Dr. Octopus), Jamie Foxx (Electro) and Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange) reprising their respective roles; it only adds fuel to the fire regarding the entire Multiverse theory. Although the film is slated to hit theatres on December 17 of this year, there has been no news about an official trailer being released till now. This has no doubt made the fans impatient, with its eagerly awaited trailer getting delayed every time. And now, when it looked like we might be finally getting it, reports have arrived that the trailer has been leaked.

While many fans were busy hunting for possible hints or clues as to the trailer release date, news began to circulate that the trailer was to be released on the 23rd of March. Although it’s not exactly a clue and more of a gag, one of the jokes introduced in WandaVision has now been turned into a clue by fans looking forward to the trailer to Spider-Man: No Way Home. A fan pointed out how the Aug. 23 date on the calendar in WandaVision could possibly signify the release date for the Spider-Man trailer. What’s more, a screenshot of the WandaVision calendar shows a heart sketched in on Wednesday, Aug. 23. Fans will remember that Wanda nor Vision could remember at the time why that particular date was significant in their relationship.

Also, upon asking Vision, he is quick to state that he is incapable of forgetting anything, on the other hand Wanda reveals that she's been looking forward to the day, though without giving any details herself. The trailer would finally get released on 23rd August nevertheless, thus rendering all the speculation to be true. Although the trailer leaking beforehand might or might not have had a part to play in it. Sony and Marvel Studios however were quick to have the video blocked, with many accounts displaying takedown notices in its place even though the footage that appeared on social media included unfinished special effects and unedited scenes. Spider-man No Way Home is set to release on December 17th this year in theatres around the world.
